SaaS and CRM: turning informational traffic into demo-ready pages
A software company had readers but not buyers. I rebuilt the site around how teams evaluate tools, so search visitors could see where the product fits their workflow and take the next step.
- Client
- B2B software company
- My role
- Content and SEO strategy lead
- Engagement
- Focused pilot, then scaled
The product was strong, but organic traffic sat in a handful of broad informational posts. Product pages listed features without context, solution pages were thin, and nothing on the site answered the questions buyers ask when comparing tools or planning implementation. Readers learned about a problem, then left without seeing how the product solved it.
How I diagnosed it
Before changing anything, I separated the real problem from its symptoms.
Segmented traffic by informational and commercial intent
Mapped product and use-case pages against real search demand
Reviewed competitor comparison and integration pages
Traced internal links and CTAs from articles to product pages
Collected objections from sales calls and demos
-
1
Aligned SEO, content, product marketing, design and sales on one shared diagnosis
-
2
Designed a solution-led architecture covering workflows, AI agents, lead routing, integrations and industry use cases
-
3
Rewrote product copy around workflow outcomes, proof, fit and honest limitations
-
4
Published use-case articles, integration pages and implementation guides that link to the right solution page
-
5
Matched every CTA to the reader's stage, from guide download to demo request
